PROJECTS

  • Sophia's interests surround digital content creation, video production, web content writing, and coding in HTML. She is proficient in iMovie, and Google Spreadsheets.

Twine (Taylor's Version)

The first ever album downloaded to my iPod shuffle at 8 years old, was Taylor Swift's sophomore album, Fearless. Ever since then I have most likely spent a tuition payment's amount of money on merch, vinyl records, and concert tickets to the Era's Tour. Therefore there was no better subject to base my Twine experience off of.

The Kombucha Chronicles

On the first sunny day of Spring semester, Table 4 took a journey they'd never forget involving friendship, a spontaneous bus ride, tragedy, and a bubbly drink whose pictures were lost to time. This story was created using Thinglink.

My Favorite Places in Boston

Growing up in the Northshore the coolest thing you could do was take the T into Boston with your friends. The city is so walkable and there are always new things to try. Over the years I have developed some favorite places. Explore the map to see and learn about them!

Maine Mill Digital Curation

In Spring 2024 I worked with the Maine Mill Museum in Lewiston, Maine in curating a digital memorial. The digital space will act as a permanent space holding the events, and the stories of the victims related to the October 2023 mass shooting that occurred in Lewiston.

There were two separate teams within the curation group: print and social media. I assisted the print team in finding content from student news organizations related to the tragedy, converted them into pdfs, and documented each within a shared spreadsheet. This project will be ongoing as Maine Mill obtains more media content for their final memorial.

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS
